If any of our guards would be on the hot seat it would be Suggs in my opinion. Anthony black has a lot of the same qualities as Suggs but he’s 6’7. Markelle isn’t going anywhere. I’m not sure what the future holds for Suggs and Cole but I hope we can keep everyone for at least 2 more years
Jett has always been my top 2 favorite prospects in the draft class so I still can’t believe we really got him 😭😭🔥🔥🔥

I feel like were going to trade suggs and cole im worried about fultz and if they do i feel like we took a step back now waiting to see if the rookies develop
I am more confident in Howard pick after looking him up after draft. His shooting looks to be on the same level as Hawkins and Dick, the way he moves he reminds me a lot of CJ McCollum and although he is not the fastest player he looks like there is a lot of potential in him to become a better creator on the ball.
Black pick is for the highest upside and not fit i guess, I would loved get Hendricks instead of him but we will see… But it definitely makes guard rotation a lot more complicated.
Harris needs to go I know he is our best shooter from the guard position but we just don't have enough playing time for Fultz, Harris, Cole, Suggs, Black, Howard.
Fultz needs to get around 35min this year before we decide if we want him to be our pg of the future or not? And if Black is his replacement then its even more confusing as the only thing why Fultz might not be the best fit next to Banchero And Franz is his 3poitn shooting which Black is currently missing as well…

Im excited for this pick. I think he will end up with better numbers than A. Black by the end of the season. As far as his weaknesses like fighting thru screens etc. He's in a great place to fix all that. With guys like Franz and Suggs around, he'll figure it out quick.
These two are developmental picks in my eyes. Would be surprised to see them get any play over our current guards. Guess front office couldn’t trade these picks away?
i dont believe Jett is really 6'8. and his subpar athleticism will be a problem. otherwise, he wouldnt have ducked the combine.

Great breakdown. I do think this is a little reminiscent of the 2021 draft. I think Howard will surprise people and be a much more impactful player than AB early on, while AB will show his continued growth and impact as the years go on, similar to Franz/Suggs respectively. This front office does their research, and I highly doubt they’d draft someone who they feel would be a defensive liability and get played off of the floor. So I think your analysis is spot on. My comp for him is a little weird but I’ll explain. I see a combination of Doug McDermott and Paul Pierce. He has plus size and a quick high release from range like McDermott, but physically is built a little more like pierce where he’s not a plus athlete but has natural scoring instincts and is sneaky strong. I’m not saying he’s going to be as good as someone like pierce, but if he can learn to use his body and develop some go to moves from midrange, I think he can be an extremely versatile scorer for years.
No you absolutely can’t use his skills to say he wasn’t a reach at 11 when in fact he was. He was a reach because he was projecting somewhere around 18 and beyond in the draft, in fact a lot of projections had him in the 20’s. To pick him at 11 when you could have traded back and had him absolutely makes him a reach and is the laughingstock of the NBA.
I think they picked Jett because they see a higher ceiling on him than Gradey or Hawkins and clearly they are looking on the fact that the prime of this team is still 3 or 4 years away, so they dont need someone to win now

I’m hyped for both these guys the more I read into them. The fans are always annoying as hell around draft time. People get so fixated on the one or two dudes they expect the team to pick. Welt’s never been obvious with picks and so far the team has been coming together spectacularly. The armchair drafters always annoy the shit out of me online, but I love seeing players prove them wrong. Looking forward to the season 🤘

I was ok with Howard before these video, but now I heard about recent injuries I am not happy at all🤔 I mean, you are still paying for Isaac, who is always injured, you lost the first part of the season because of injuries – how much more do you want to gamble?! and it is not like he was potential №1 before that!
Well, if Jett lives up to his name then he should be able to FLY and dunk from the sky!
