I love these but low candidates

Maybe not Ben Simmons, but maybe we just steal the Warriors whole young core and go after Kuminga & Wiseman…

Kuminga for Gallinari, Muscala and some 2nds?

    James Wiseman for Delon Wright?

Sign & trade Kuzma for Brandon Clarke & David Roddy?

    PG: Tyus/Monte/Rollins

    SG: Poole/Coulibaly/Shamet

    SF: Deni/Kispert/PBJ

    PF: Kuminga/Clarke/Roddy

    C: Gafford/Wiseman/Huff/Vukcevic

We’re not getting kuminga for that lol.

Tbh we have enough young players, we need some quality vets to build a good culture.

I’d look at John Collins as a reclamation project. We may be able to get additional assets for taking on his contract.

There is a difference between buying low and passing the trash. The Pistons and Nets are rebuilding too and if they’re dumping these guys who were buy low projects for them it means they’re passing the trash. Buying low is a trade similar to getting Poole; taking advantage of a winning team who needs a short term upgrade and/or cap space so they’ll get rid of the player (coming off a bad season, on too big a contract, etc) who fits least.

The only name I like on that list is Kuminga and the Warriors will want players who can help now for him.

Bagley could come over and learn some Hebrew from Deni to prepare for the next stage of his career overseas

One trade I would like to see: a sign & trade with Kuzma packaged with Monte Morris for Gordon Hayward and a first round pick in 2026 or 2027.

Charlotte gets off that atrocious Hayward contract and add Kuzma, who rounds out their starting lineup. Monte can play backup PG. The Wizards receive an expiring contract and a pick that has real upside.

LaMelo / Rozier / Miller / Kuzma / Williams (or whoever the hell their center is lol)

Only obstacle is, obviously, that Kuzma has to agree to pack his bags and go to Charlotte. If there isn’t much of a market for him then it’s certainly not a bad team for him to compete on.

Wiseman and Kuminga would be great to take flyers on. Simmons would definitely require sweeteners which makes him attractive.

Simmons sounds nice because of picks, but I feel like it would ruin team’s atmosphere wayy too much, knowing a “shit player” on their team is making 40m a yr, but then again, next few years , who gives a fuck.

I mean I can not take nets seriously while they have him on a team.
