  1. This was a silly pick in my opinion. Masai should have stuck to his tradition of selecting players of African heritage and picked up Oscar Tshiebwe from Kentucky. He is ready to contribute right away and is already better than Boucher.

  2. I hope he makes the team and really pushes the pace with the second unit. I think he would make them super exciting to watch!

  3. * Hot Take*He will show out in the summer leauge and become our starting PG this season (if we dont sign a sifficent reolacement for FVV)

  4. Is he only on wemby's waist level when they stand beside each other? No matter how good you are 5'8 just wont cut it in the nba, this guy will be a massive liability on defense

  5. Too much hype guys. He is not quick enough for that height. He will struggle against most guards.

  6. "They looked up and saw a star" is a line from the First Noel Christmas carol. It is a prophesy that Markquis Nowell who was born on December 25 will have 25 assists against Nick Nurse's team in December

  7. At first , I was like great news, but i learned that he was only 5’8 … I believe that he way too small, sometimes going near last in the draft is not a mistake by all the league scouts except ours …

  8. Everybody is talking about his height as if it’s so impossible to succeed at his size when it’s been done before. This generation is just not up on the history of the NBA and think Lebron is the greatest thing since slice bread, and only what’s current now works. Muggsy Bogues a ex Raptor was shorter than him and had a long successful career, Spud Webb was 5’6 and won the dunk contest. Yes for all you young bucks out there a player 5’6 actually won the dunk contest. It’s not impossible to succeed in the league a that height especially if you’re playing with good defenders and a rim protector. If Koloko take’s a jump I can easily see the raptors playing them together at time on the 2nd unit to limit teams from posting him up. He’s going to get lot of burn in the G League system like pretty much all our young players except OG and Scottie who never really played with the 905 but I’m not counting the man out because he made it here by proving people wrong. If you watched March Madness you know he was definitely one of the best PG’s in that tournament.

  9. Just look at what Campazzo did for DEN the two seasons before 2022-23. Way better passer, shooter, ball-handler… just a way better player looking to make plays. Best comparison as one of the other youtubers made is that of a shorter Trae, just geting into the paint, finishing or passsing it out for open looks. Let's Go, Mark!

Please also do a profile on Desmond as well… summer league roster fillin up nicely.

  10. Raptors giving a short guy a chance? Did the organization go past 25 years?

  11. Hopefully this guy works. What Ben said about Van Vleet is very observant. Fred is a very good player, but does not get the others involved as much as a good point guard should. It's probably too late to keep Flynn as Nick Nurse screwed that up like so many other things, that I have been ranting on about since the bubble dabacle. This is a good team still. Quality point guards with a quality coach will save this team if they are able to keep them together.

  12. YOU Arm Chair So called No it all's ARE you Living YOUR CHILDHOOD DREAMS most likely not SO he's 3 SHOTS AHEAD of YOU Pick up BALL and Give the MAN a SHOT

  13. We need to make some trades and get Siakam some real help. Warm and fuzzy stuff aint it.

  14. Hypocritical takes. Fred gets a lot of hate for being short.

  15. He’s gonna be a steal. Better handles and passing abilities then any of the guard on our team. He should make the end of the bench. Give the man a shot! Raps are one of the best teams built to help alleviate his defensive short comings. Our team is built to have shorter guards in it. We need shooters and play making and just overall bucket getters. This boi can do all three of those. Super excited to see what him and Dick can do on this team year one and going forward. Good moves by the front office. Let’s also give flynn another shot in Darkos pick and roll offence as a back up and give Jeff Dowtin a legit run. I’m a strong believer Dalano should be moved to the two guard to get him more off ball which should alleviate his turn overs as primary ball handler. Dalano needs to work on his jump shot but as a cutter he could be very effective as a back up two. It’ll get him more minutes and also get flynn, Dowtin and Nowell more minutes.
    Go raps go!

  16. At his height you have to be a generational talent to stick in the NBA. He's also 23. He's obviously good but is he elite? Here's hoping🤞

  17. Muggsy bogues was only 5'3" in case anyone was wondering. Markquis Nowell would tower over Muggsy, he was truly a once in a lifetime inspirational player.

  18. I love dude, could be a great backup, but having another undersized guard that has a tendency to shoot below 40%fg giving me Nam flashbacks 🫠

    Pullin for him tho 🫡
