Love Dame, woudla been going nuts to get him if we didn't have Brunson, and I'll die on this hill— getting a superstar will NOT have as big an impact unless u are moving Randle for him.
Maybe Dame is big enough a star that Randle will go "oh ok, I can and SHOULD refer to this superstar," but I'm not 100% certain.
And I can see damn near anyone coming in and "deferring" more to Randle than the other way around.
So if you're getting someone, you probably gotta take off at least 4 shots a game off their previous year(s).
That probably would make them less impactful than you'd think.
So unless they trade Randle in a huge deal, they need to go and build around what we habe to make us super deep and versatile.
I'd like to of course keep Hart, and grab the much rumored Dante DiVincenzo, or Seth Curry, and honestly, make a run at Austin Reaves. He is a star in the making.

No, but he showed enough woth the Lakers from the second Russ was gone to show that if one were to pick him at the 2024 season breakout star, it wouldn't be laughable.
