Undrafted 7-foot C Charles Bediako, 21, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Spurs, his agent, Daniel Green, told several media outlets.
Bediako, who hails from Ontario, Canada, averaged 6.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in two seasons at Alabama.

Watched a tonne of him at Bama. Very very raw, but he when he played well he absolutely anchored the defense of arguably the best team in the country last year.
Wemby is and wants to be more of a 4 than a 5, so besides Collins, we do need a proper center for some backup. Must be exciting right now to be a young center prospect with the chance to play alongside Wemby heh. But irl, I think we just need Jakob back, and Patty too as our new little general.

Curious. Could be a nice pickup and a good prospect, but “one-year deal” sounds nothing like “2-way contract” so I’m not sure where to put him roster wise.
To be fair, we need to trim. Guys like KBD, Champ, Mamu, are all potential casualties.
It may or may not make sense to observe who’s been around all the festivities the last few days. Saw a pic of Mamu w/ Jeremy on the floor for that media deal, but we’ll see. Also brings to mind the ill-fated Fiesta Jersey photo shoot.
