Nick Wrong is down on Porzingis only because he didn't jibe with Luka while playing for the Mavs….Mr. Half Mullet should know that his bromance with his "adult Slovenian son" is an one-sided affair. It's not a real thing (like Jimmy Butler kept insisting about Playoff Jimmy). Of course the Celtics got better! With Brogdon there, they don't need Marcus to pretend he can play point. They've added size and shooting in Porzingis, and he's also younger than Marcus Smart (who also gets injured a lot and doesn't quite look himself in the last 2 years). The only thing they lost which could come back to bite them is that Smart is regarded as the heart and soul and grit of the Celtics, so the 2 Jays and other will need to fill that void. It's something 2 dudes eligible for supermax contracts SHOULD be able to do, anyway…otherwise they may not be worth it.
I love tyus jones. Super underrated. I guess they wanted a better version of dillon brooks. Where has tyus jones been given starting chances? Minnesota? I rest my case.
