Naz Reid’s new contract with Minnesota would be a nice price point for a Grant Williams contract.

Love Grant, and really hope to retain him, but at a price more like this than 20 million.

No it wouldn’t. He’s not worth this at all and we should be looking to find a S+T partner to create a TPE with him or get an asset back if it’s Dallas.

Good for Naz. I like the way he plays. Glad he got paid despite the injury.

Anything below 15M I think is fair.

If we can get him for 10-12M then that would be ideal.

I know it’s dictated by the market for the player but seriously, Grant would be crazy to not take a 10-12mill 3-year or so contract and stay with the Celtics. That’s literally millions of dollars and a good chance at a ring. Why do these players need so much money?

Why do people want to keep this guy? He’s a foul machine with little to no offensive skillset. The only reason he guards opposing centers and fouls them is because wings blow by him, then he fouls them. Could we not get a guy who at least rebounds well when he’s not busy fouling someone? Just about anyone can hide in the corner and brick 3’s.

Sign and trade for a TPE or let him walk.
