I disagree about the expectations for Scoot in the first two years. Trae was a much better shooter coming into the NBA. Scoot will have to develop that. It is better to look at expectations of Scoot's career arc. There is good reason to believe Scoot will become a better shooter but that process will happen gradually year by year. I fear in year one a bunch of Blazer fans will judge Scoot as being not as good as Trae and demand Scoot. But in the long run that will be a big mistake.
There's no way they start training camp with Dame, Simons, Sharpe and Scoot all on the roster is there?

I wonder why people don't talk enough about the sizes at power-forward and center positions. That's the glaring need. What is JC gonna do about it? Everything is guards, guards, and guards.
I think he would be the best version if he improves his jumper sooner than later.
They wont win with scoot and dame. They wont win if they trade scoot to build around dame. But they could win without dame when scoot grows. Dame is a dead end, trade him
