  1. Stay patient NYK it’s a lot of players that will be available soon next year J-Embid Giannis D-Booker Luka be patient Nyk in let’s see if RJ can take that next step that will be huge

  2. Please stay away from PG and Levine. Trade for ONUNGBY and SIAKAM for RANDLE and BARRETT. Then trade Toppin, Quickley, Robinson, Fournier and 3 unprotected picks for AD.

  3. And you, sir, don't knowbObi Toppin. As long as he play in Tom Thibodeau system you all will never see his true potential

  4. He’s more than jus an inner G guy that man can ball jus need the starting time he will put starting number up for a fact 🫡

  5. The stay patient spiel sounds good in general, and specially in a vacuum. But the truth is with this team now, there's plenty of holes that need to be filled up. The team is not close to being a championship contender, but because of their, ironically, impatient coach, they're refusing to add young prospects to potentially fill those holes. They've needed a wing since forever yet they haven't even tried selecting one in the 3 years Rose has been here. They're saying Christian Braun wouldn't have been good on this team? Austin Reaves? Jalen Williams? That's just this year, off memory. I'm sure you can add another 10 guys they could've had late in the draft in the last 3 years. If you hit on one then maybe you don't need to send a pick to Portland for Josh Hart, as much as I like him. If you don't hit, try again the next year as most teams do. Certainly better than a second round pick in 2026 like the Washington pick.

The strength of this team has been finding value in the draft and seemingly having great Intel on who gets picked where, and somehow they're actively avoiding it now. If they were a team that's at least consistently getting to the conference finals, then maybe you have a better argument that there's no room for more young players. And yet, the reigning champions like young players way more than the Knicks do, they drafted 3 yesterday. The Knicks should take at least one young prospect a year, work with them and see if they can replace one of the rotation players. I fail to see the opportunity cost that they don't want to pay. You have to churn the back of that roster and make it better while you wait for your magical superstar to become available. Not to mention , the way Thibs overuses the starters, they're probably dealing with a shorter window than they think.

Yes this is the best shape the team has been in years, but there's a rigidity in this line of thinking that I'm not feeling. You have holes to fill and you are not using your resources to their full extent. It's a waste. What's the point of Walt Perrin and the rest of the department? It's like, this is the best analogy I can come up with atm, someone waiting years to get enough money to get lipo, but refusing to go running in the meantime.

  6. Hell no to George, etc…same over the hill trades Knicks done for decades…We've already seen recently with KD Kyrie trades that those trades leave u with lil bench, no draft picks,& no cap space… also new CBA rules really limit teams to 2 high paid players.

  7. But they got one of the best UDFA player Obi brother Jacob Toppin and another good one in Jaylen Martin who is a Rolando Blackman type of player.

  8. Knicks have tried the over the hill vet before. George fits five years ago. Has not played significantly in years. Hands off.

  9. Knicks are waiting to see what happens with Sixers and Bucks, they want a big time player to be able to compete with East and eventually Nuggets. Joe and Giannis is what they want, just notice their patience!

  10. Hey guys I suggest a three team trade that would send Pascal Siakam to the clippers in exchange for Paul George to the Knicks in a three team trade that would send Mc bride , Derrick rose and Evan Fournier with three picks where clippers get back Siakam and a Knicks first rounder

  11. This is my problem with Obi! He's not doing nothing to make his self better!!! Ive watched all the Great since MJ and all of the players that turned into Superstars or Stars all hit the weight room and developed thier body and from you get stronger the game get easier!!! More rebounds because they cant push him around. Thats why Juelz Randle is a star in the NBA!!! i still think Obi should become a Small foward and play alongside Juelz! He should be working out with all small fowards this off season if not hit the weights room Asap!!!

  12. Looking at toppin's stats as a starter what makes you say he shouldn't be starting for any team? He's a borderline all-star when he starts. Don't let thibs
Inability to play him fool you.

  13. I completely disagree with Jon, Leon has all the cards and doesn't have to make any moves. A lot of teams around the league, including the Clippers are wanting to move the big contract guys who havent paid off with a championship, so it's Leon in the catbird seat.

  14. Tim Bontemps makes the most sense 👏🏾👍🏾. The Knicks got to such an unexpectedly successful season by being patient and taking advantage of the best opportunities that opened up. Continue that patience and resist the urge for instant gratification. Lillard or Mitchell are not a good fit with Brunson currently running the point.
