Michigan outscored opponents by 10.3 points per 100 possessions with Bufkin on-court, and was outscored by 14 points per 100 with Bufkin on the bench, for a 24.3 point swing. Amongst all players drafted in the first round, Bufkin was 2nd only to Olivier-Maxence Propsper in on/off differential for team Net Rating (points per 100 possessions).

What is really impressive is the balance between offense and defense. The team was +13.1 better on offense with Bufkin on court, and held opponents to 11.1 fewer points per 100 with Bufkin on defense.
