Dame needs to go. There isn't one or two players that will make us any more competitive than when CJ was on the team
Do people forget that Dame and CJ were drafted after 4 years and still improved every year? Your physical prime in the NBA is usually 27-29 and the mental+physical prime can be 29-31. So calling these 23 year olds capped out on potential makes absolutely no sense.
Dame will stay. He'll play with Scoot and Sharpe. They'll be excellent together. Everything else is gossip and idle chatter.

This isn't the perfect comp, but he reminds me of Battier. Average athlete that performs on D with length, instincts and IQ. Battier was a better shot, but Kris has promise there.

I like a lot of Mike's takes, but if you're keeping this pick? This was the most Lillard-oriented player on the board. He is potentially a rotation player on a playoff team year one. You picked floor over ceiling at a position of rotational need.
Everyone’s miffed about the lack of direction for the team, but forgets what the ownership directed management to do with the 2019 WCF team.
Why should they build with a 33 y/o Lillard when they disrespected a 28 y/o Lillard in his prime? They’re just using him to fill seats. Money over Results.
To shut off the money tap and to hard-cap the team, they’ll resign players first (Grant and Thybulle) to deplete the available salary space for high-end talent, like they did for the past 4 years.
How stupid do they think Dame is? As stupid as they think we are? That isn’t going to work.
The Blazers had an incredible draft from a value and talent standpoint and all Portland media members want to do is point put how the fit with Dame doesn't work. Since when does drafting for fit over best player lead to successful team building? Blazers had an A+ draft and I'm grateful we finally have a competent GM willing to make the best decisions for the team. This draft is a HUGE win for the Blazers franchise
