42.9% of Hood-Schifino’s shots came from the midrange, which was BY FAR the highest midrange percentage of shots for any player drafted in the second round. He did shoot a respectable 41% on these shots.
No other player drafted in the first round took more than 30% of their shots from the midrange, with Nick Smith Jr (28.2%) and Brice Sensabaugh (25.2%) the only other players above 25%. Smith Jr. shot 36.8% on these shots whereas Sensabaugh shot an impressive 49.5% from the midrange.
Will Jalen be able to stretch the floor for Lebron and AD from 3P range? He only shot 33.3% from 3P range last season.

Hopefully he improves his finishing ability around the rim since he is 6’6.

I think he might end up taking awhile to settling in and getting real rotational minutes.
Clearly he needs to go right that’s his strongest area. But again his finishing is very concerning. We need his defense to be better than advertised.

I hope the scouting department knows something about this guy because everything I’ve read and heard on him since the team picked him has been very mid at best.
Maxwell Lewis has been made to sound way more promising and exciting, and that’s not exactly a good thing.

So youre telling me im gonna be seeing Fino and Rui never miss a midrange ever? Im down

Hear me out boys.
If we can teach him to shoot those midrange shots but tell him to back it up a little bit so they count for 3 points instead of 2 then he’ll probably pass LBJ on the all time scoring list.

Those cold spots can be fixed…especially corner three
