The trail of crumbs leads me to this sort of wishful thinking. It's crazy to think that the solution to both the Raptors financial offseason & to filling out the coaching staff could be Thaggic Johnson. How would you feel about Thad joining the coaching staff? Would you prefer to see Fred, Jacob, both or neither Walk? Cheers

It's fine if you don't think Nurse lost the locker room but there was plenty of evidence, including recently revelations from GTJs father. Every single other raptor's youtuber I've heard and even Jack Armstrong alluded to it. Losing the locker room is not nearly as awful as some of the accusations that have come towards Nurse. Sometimes your effect as a coach can simply wear off. No need to place blame on anyone but the locker room was inevitably lost.
Why do you suspect he was fired if he didn't lose the locker room? Remember, the entire coaching staff got fired indicating they really wanted no remnants from this negative experience. Masai also wouldn't fire a championship coach over things that can be adjusted like 'schemes'. Nurse was fired because he went past a point of no return in terms of player buy-in and respect. He's shattered too many relationships with the young players especially.

Do you actually know about new cba rule? If we bring back Fred, we literally get fked in 2years unless we let go one of OG or Siakam. Would you rather have Fred over them? Plus, I think Fred is not a leader, more a locker room cancer to me. Besides new cba rule, why would we pay luxury tax after horrible season?
Calling the ISO ball a path to development is a bigger reach than Wemby's draft measurements. If it was a coach/org strategy why did players vocally talk about needing more ball movement in the offense and be visibly distraught when open players were ignored. Nurse did not like to stifle the offense with set plays. It worked when Kawhi and Lowry were calling the shots, not so much when we downgraded to FVV and Pascal. Nurse may not be a traditional player's coach but in a sense he let FVV and to a lesser extend Siakam do whatever they needed to do on offense to the detriment of the team. We developed zero role players over the past two years and I see that changing now that we have a coach that will have an offensive system and will play the bench. I can see a huge jump next year no matter what player changes occur because last year's offense (and defense) was so atrocious at times.

All this sounds nice but what’s the path to winning that Larry OB again or being a contender atleast lol if we can’t get another max player and can’t trade our picks till god knows when…. What do you honestly think is a successful season… all I’m hearing is we running it back and hoping a coach is going to take us from a play in team to A first round exit… pascal isn’t gettin younger.. when are we going to have true success on this squad… the Flynn and Bantons of the world need to free up roster spots… do you honestly think this roster can win at the highest level… ???
i love the upbeat passion , the positive outlooks and energy you bring onto each theory and breakdown. between the 5 raptors channels i follow mainly – raptors digest ( solid tween reporting ) , warraich report ( good reporting from BC ) , nba chev ( die hard real raptor talks from usa ) , pensare ( negative for the most part that is lacking energy but alot of interesting anaylsis ) and you ghubbstown clink ( nostra phuckin damus of raptors theories and backing it up with numbers ).. everyone has something to bring to the table. the theory of thad being a coach .. is really not a far fetched idea ! it would totally work .
