A team will give the 76ers a couple good players for an above average on an expiring contract.
Darryl’s overindulgence in analytics led to the current state of the 76ers. After arriving in Philadelphia, within 4 weeks he tried to move one of the key pieces of the process to an older and slower version of a proven failure in playoffs (43/55 game 6/7 losses). Everything started here. This created distrust, division and bad culture that even led to Jimmy Butler packing his bag and leaving. 76ers fans are I’m afraid still trying to tell themselves that they won that trade. When you never had a GM with a reputation, once you find one you try your best to ignore his stupidity. 😊
