I am a Spurs fan but I will always root for Joel Embiid. Hope he gets to the finals someday, or at least the ECF lol
Joel Embiid is not on the clock. this Narrative that great players have to win it early is trash. while I agree he needs to have more playoff success that's a team effort not just a player achievement.
the issue is embiid has also come up short during the playoffs, injuries and just being gassed. but the fanbase been giving him a free pass

I’m a Sixers fan and Embiid played like trash in the playoffs. He averaged 10 points less than he did in the regular season, shot 18% from 3. So I’m not interested in them giving him a pass. He didn’t show up.

Embid's star status is deserving, but demonstrated he's not near 100% at the end of each season. Nurse can only due so much, but has got to find a way to promote end of season health. A 6th seed with a healthy Embid would be crushing it.
