  1. Good Morning Jazz Nation. Should Hendrix start over Olynyk? Brice over Ochai? Keyonte over current PG room? I don't think so. What if Hendrix moves to the SG spot? JC 6'4 at 1 Hendrix at 2 at 6'9, LM at 3 at 6'11 KO at 4 at 6'10 and Kessler at 5 at 7'1. Huge lineup. Great shooters but probably slow.

  2. I love basketball 🏀, I'm born and raised in Chicago Illinois, I'm a 37 year old home 🏡 owner, my point in saying all that is that I am EXTREMELY familiar with the GREATEST BASKETBALL EVER PLAYED (Jordan) to the worst basketball you'll ever see (current Chicago basketball) and these new faces MAY take you places but NONE OF THEM ARE GUARANTEED ACES and these young 🌱 guys fold and break to easy. UTAH SHOULD EXPECT NOTHING FROM THESE NEW 🆕 PEOPLE. UTAH NEEDS TO BELIEVE IN JORDAN CLARKSON AND LAURI MARK and I'm sorry 😐😔 to tell you this but "Kelly Olynk" sucks he needs to go play baseball ⚾ or hockey 🏒 🏑 instead of taking up a roster spot all those underwhelming and subpar play. They went from Stockton and Malone to Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert now, WHATS NEXT? THESE NEW 🆕 FACES? NEXT PLEASE..

  3. Kryonte owned the last four minutes of that Arkansas game. He is a winner. His past is one of leading teams to winning. His mom/family is central to his life and that makes a huge difference for these young guys.
We need to have patience with these kids because they are still kids. Trust the Jazz development system, the potential/talent of these kids, and we will see great things happen.
    LIEF, YOU KILL IT BROTHER!

  4. Why do "evaluators" seem to think the only thing that matters is "athleticism"? Maybe you could notice something called ABILITY TO PLAY BASKETBALL sometimes? Remember slow, weak Larry Bird? Non-ripped Tim Duncan? Tub o' lard Jokic? Scrawny, "can't bench 180 lbs ONCE" Kevin Durant? Skill at playing team basketball is what counts. I suppose it's easier to screech about seeing your three millionth dunk.

*Not saying YOU do these things all the time, LT*, just that analysts in general seem to be kind of weak on this.

I also note a real tendency to handwave any possibility of players dramatically improving. Little analysis of highschool/AAU/college (one year) coaching they might have received, or lack thereof. Unquestioning assignment of "ceiling" based on athleticism seems intuitive, but it's not predictive. As the Jazz coaching/development staff have demonstrated a fine ability to identify and correct weaknesses, I'm optimistic about each of these picks and how they'll be developed and used.

  5. Great pod today. I'm really interested to see what kind of minutes the rooks get at the beginning of the season. Unless the Jazz add more guards in FA, Keyonte could have the opportunity for a lot of minutes. If the Jazz made the play-in and develop the rooks, I will view it as a successful season.
