2023 NBA Free Agency begins on Friday and Dallas Mavericks rumors on who they could sign are starting to circulate. According to reports, the Mavs are targeting Nuggets’ free agent Bruce Brown. Dallas has the full $12.4 million mid-level exception after trading Davis Bertans to the Thunder and many believe Brown could receive that contract. ESPN NBA Insider Tim MacMahon also added that the Mavs could’ve landed Brown last offseason but prioritized signing C Javale McGee.

Williams is a hard no. Not a great defender. Brown is possible but only on an overpay.
Something similar to what Hardaway or Bullock/McGee makes on a sign and trade. One thing for certain he’s going higher than the MLE. Signing Barnes would be astronomically stupid. He’s near the end as a starter in this league. Every team has a player that can toast him on the defensive end and he becomes more one dimensional by the year.
