The Knicks have $149 million in guaranteed salary on the books for next season, which is $16 million below the luxury tax level.

You can't turn injuries off. last time he was healthy, he shot 43/44% four seasons ago. barely above average. He is on the downside of his career. Not worth contract or assets. I'll take him as a free agent in the 20M range….maybe 30M for the next 2/3yrs tops. All that 40/50M would be a huge mistake.
Though it makes sense I’m upset that rose has to go but I’m glad he got to spend a good amount of time with us and give some wise words to the young ins 😂

Why if the are planning to sign the big Ragu they don’t work out a trade with warriors for Rose instead of letting him go for nothing? Sign Kyle Kuzma already. Forget 40 million a yr injury prone players. I thought they would go after Miles Turner. He would bring needed space on Offense for JB. Yet still provides Rim coverage.
