Collins has a pretty bad contract. It’s not a problem now and hopefully he can play closer to his pay in a new setting, but this could be a problem in a couple years. It could also be an absolute steal though, who knows

if he is anything close to his 2k rating the Jazz have a legit big2 in Markannen/Collins lol

I feel like a lot of fans are missing the fact that he had a pretty intense finger injury and has never had the same shooting touch since. Heās still a solid player, but heās got a much lower ceiling these days than the player most people have built up in their heads based on his reputation. Injuries are the worst. Heās probably not a long term piece for this team, or even a move towards a more competitive roster if team is thinking about the playoffs.
