So, is anyone else sick of this with him yet?

  2. NevermoreSEA

I wonder if food will be served during the meeting.

“Sign Jerami Grant and get Draymond or I bounce”

  4. NaciremaBlack

I’ll believe it when I see it lol

  5. Skullripper675

his agent has already prepared a slideshow of dame in heat jerseys that he pulled off twitter to help get the point across

  6. Brad-Stevens

Reports are saying he’s not running from the grind 😤😤😤

  7. Earl-Thomas-a-Raven

Just ask out man. Media and his agent are helping him manipulate this situation to minimize backlash, making it all worse IMO.

Thank god! I just bought a big thing of popcorn!

Guarantee that within a few hours, Haynes will come out and say that Dame remains committed to Portland and they’re gonna run it back

So ready for this to be over. Franchise made the(imo correct) decision that it was not reasonable to try and put together a contender in a year. It’s going to take more than 2 years to fix Olshey’s mistakes. Trade him somehwere he wants to go, start a rebuild with Scoot, Sharpe, and whatever we get for Dame. You can’t ask for a better start to a rebuild

  11. BBallHunter

Any competent GM would straight up tell Dame to please let us rebuild.

  12. Miami are going to get him for a 3rd round pick or something

  13. Expulsure

id be happy if i never saw another tweet about Dame again unless it was an actual trade

  14. Rapey_Keebler_Elves

I could definitely see Dame getting traded if the Blazers and another team agree on a deal.

he’s about to drop another song

  16. J-Duggs

I’m going to have an existential crisis if he’s gone. Dude was drafted when I was 14 and I feel like I grew up with watching this guy for countless hours, heartbreak after heartbreak

  17. DisgruntledPelican78

Scoot/Shaedon & picks from heat or nets. Thats a good way to start a rebuild.

  18. Quatro_Leches

there it is. if Haynes says something like this, you know its happening

    Haynes is Dame’s mouthpiece

This shit like yugioh back in the day on channel 5. Took 3 months for each duel to finish. Bro every week is something else with dame and Portland lmao

  20. riotnerfjg

Is there a way to filter out any off-season same news unless an official trade happens

  21. spidersilva09

Be a lot cooler if you just announce a trade or don’t mention this saga anymore. The narrative has fallen out we don’t care lol

I have a strong suspicion that they will formally allow Dame and his agent to seek trade requests, which would also allow him to negotiate potential contract adjustments with a new team. He technically is not allowed to be traded until July 1 so this will be the beginning of the end.

  23. John Collins got traded, Dame is next. Finally, we can stop with the trade rumors every offseason.

  24. SwampFlowers

It seems clear that Dame wants a trade but doesn’t want to be one of those guys who requests a trade and sours the relationship. I hope they can come out of this meeting with a mutual agreement to part ways because Jesus is this tiring.

“Dame is disappointed there were no moves on draft day, but still loves Portland and remains motivated to bring a title to PDX”

Listen I always respect player loyalty to an extent in sports. There’s no reason for a player to outwardly be loyal when it isn’t required in a business. I also respect Dame’s commitment to the shtick in an era (specifically the 2010’s) where top stars bailed on good teams to win.

That said his shtick is a bit comical at this point. He talks about the loyalty and grind stuff so much whilst clearly not being happy with the franchise’s direction and the clear possibility of him retiring ringless. Not only that but with 3 straight seasons of “home grown” teams winning a ring, his whole loyalty point feels a bit more hollow since it hasn’t resulted in his team getting anywhere. At this point I don’t think anyone cares about it

Boooooring….Dame afraid to leave. Portland afraid to trade him.
