After watching this conference, it seems pretty clear that the main reason FOs let Cam slip is due to his interviews. He seems like a really soft spoken, almost shy guy at first, I saw a video of him earlier doing trivia as well and he did like really bad so he probably didn’t wow teams with his eloquence lol. Teams in that range already had their guy and weren’t willing to budge given his potential marks on his injury report and also since they weren’t able to really get a breakthrough with his personality through the interview, they let him go. I’m super happy to have him here though, seems like a nice kid, and he wants to be here which is important as well. But most of all he can fucking HOOP, so I don’t care how quiet he seems or if he’s good at trivia. Welcome to the H, Cam and Amen🤘🏾

I like that Amen showed up in a suit for this – and that’s not a knock on Cam whatsoever. I feel like that Amen is a natural leader. Udoka will love this guy.
