I feel like second round picks on contending teams are generally spending the bulk of their time with the g league squad, no? I like the pick but I don’t expect him to be making an impact as a Boston Celtic in the near future

You heard it from me first 😉

He will be on the roster sometime this year and will be good. Should have been a top 10 pick.

Wonder if he calls Al sir? I would.

He was McDonald’s all-American and a 10 top recruit going into college. I think he fell to the second round because he can’t shoot. Celtics need defense, athleticism, and hustle out of a potential 12th-15th guy more so than scoring depth.

Celtics are also gonna need cheap players to round out the roster. If he plays well in summer league and training camp, I think he could get a roster spot, not just a two way deal.

This roster is gonna be really expensive soon, I think they will want to try to develop him as quickly as possible. Even if he doesn’t get minutes, guarding the Jays in practice would be huge for him

Wouldn’t be surprised at all if he makes the 15 man roster, they only have 11 contracted players currently, even assuming they sign Davison to the active roster that still leaves 3 open spots

Appreciate the enthusiasm but does anyone think there’s almost too many quotes from him? Like it’s been two days.

He’s saying and doing everything so far a 2nd round pick needs to do to make it in the NBA. Great first impression for sure

    You’re my only hope

This guy is saying all the right things so far; I hope his jumpshot shows up too.

More like Al Horford will be under *his* wing. He’s got two inches on Al’s wingspan.

Al did so much for Rob in his rookie year, hopefully Jordan can sponge it like Rob did

Do we have a nick name for him yet? I was thinking Mr.Clean

I love everything about this kid so far. Seems like he really has the right mindset, and his skillset could be useful in the near future. He should be a solid nba level defender rather quickly and if the shot comes around, he’s gonna have a solid career. He seems to know his role too which is an issue a lot of young guys have early on. He’s completely content with being a high energy role player.
