Somebody just needs to be the adult in the room and say it out loud that we arenāt contending. Thereās no magic trade out there that vaults us into a top 4 west team overnight. Iām sure even Cronin knew this before the summer and floated a lot of speculation to make Dame camp happy.
Then he can decide if he wants to stay with young guys and compete in 3-4 yrs or ask for a trade. We just need to stop fooling ourselves that weāre 1 Kyle Kuzma away from contending. Finish the rebuild weāre now 50% done anyways.
