Reaves really about to make more than D’Lo. Good for him.

  2. Juaniscool-8

THANK. FUCJING. GOD. I just hope Reaves doesn’t turn into Jordan Poole after tho…. I know he wont… but please dont

  3. Don’t Make that Same Mistake we did with Caruso

(Picking THT over Caruso and trading for Westbrook have been the biggest blunders in recent history)

The most AR can get for his next 2 years are 12m/yr. And no one will care how much he get for last 2 yrs of his contract coz Bron most likely retired already and we probably will rebuild. Just match whatever offer he get.

So that report early was just false?

  6. Rentfreelakerfan

Nobody is offering him that btw.

  7. kasaan110

If it ain’t the spurs I don’t see how get gets a 25 million dollar offer

  8. DateEmotional2336

Reaves better take D’Lo out for a steak dinner with that kind of money!

If I’m another team, this means I can offer reaves 4/100 and not actually have to pay him, but stick LA with 2 years of AR at 36M+

I prefer there be doubt on our intent to match so teams actually offer contracts they’d be willing to pay instead of sticking us with the highest bill possible

This is why it’s a little tricky for us to make moves right now. We have a lot of moving pieces atm. Once those get sorted out, trades become more navigateable.

  12. blacPanther55

So Reaves will be making 35 million a year 3?

    Don’t see that aging well.

  13. El_Chile_Amarillo

Thank god. Some stupid report today saying that they drafted fino to replace Reaves. Thought that wasn’t true

  14. ParamedicSpecific130

Shaq felt he had to leave LA in 2004 because he couldn’t get 20M per from Dr. Buss.

Almost 20 years later, the Austin Reaves of the world walk to 25M per.

    Amazing.

  15. TorontoRaptors34

Honestly u gotta do whatever to resign Reaves and Rui role players like them are hard to come by. Mofos who don’t know the game won’t understand continuity is key. Without it u can’t win. Legit look at the past 2 teams that made the finals continuity is a huge reason as to why.

Hell 2019-2020 had continuity in Bron Javale Kuz KCP Caruso and Rondo

  16. DanDodgerD

Exactly…stupid ass Trevor Lane was spreading bullshit with his replacement shit with the draft pick…

  17. Dagenius1

I feel like they keep reporting this story just to hope another team does this lol.

  18. Royal-Mongoose9015

Hilarious. Y’all are about to max out a 13/3/3 player lol

  19. nice_kitchen

Some wild game theory here… do you broadcast that you *will* match anything, so teams don’t bother putting in offer sheets, or do you broadcast that you *won’t* match a max offer, so teams don’t put out BS offer sheets just to gouge you.

  20. Gmork14

Letting Reaves walk would signal a deeply unserious front-office.

  21. TEDPED_

It’s truly dumb to see so many of ya’ll complain about Reaves making 36M in years 3&4 but also saying “we have to re-sign him no matter what”. Lmfao, yes, I agree with re-signing him. Im not complaining about him making so much when he’s still gonna get underpaid the first 2 years.

Also, if that’s the only way to keep him, fuck it, you live with it. Better than letting him walk for nothing. An asset is an asset.
