There’s 30 nba teams and when MacMahon is on here, apparently every free agent and trade somehow is linked to the Mavs. Try talking about another team once and while. At least Bontemps focuses on all 30 teams. Windy talks about the cavs every 3rd sentence.

Hachimura was not a bad player in Washington. He played for a bad franchise with no sense of direction. The only time he really could showcase what he could do was in '21 when they made the playoffs. In addition, the only thing he did worse than his entire run with my Lakers were FT shooting which was an anomaly.
This is prime example of how media narratives & horrible franchises can ruin the perception of a player. Keep in mind that Rui is only 24 and last year & he came to basketball very late compared to the average basketball player. He was always a team oriented player.

I'm not saying I'm a hater. But as a 76er's fan I would rather them trade Joel Embiid for as much assets and young talent as possible than to have to watch this team another year with James Harden. Morey is the worst GM in the league and the 76er's have a consistency of making bad decisions. If Harden comes back the ceiling for the 76er's is getting out of the first round. Harden is like Cancer. He only makes everything worse. Never a winner, bloated assists due to having the MVP Embiid, no defense, high turnovers, is slower than Brian Windhorst (I've personally seen them race), and cares more about scoring in the club than winning.
Warriors get Mason Plumlee in that Bogut type role and they’re set. Entertain signing Seth Curry or Joe Ingles.
I still have a Karl Anthony-Towns to OKC trade coming! I would love Towns as a 2nd/ 3rd option behind SGA and Williams.

Rui can BALL, he just needed to be in the right situation. His role on the Lakers is exactly what he needed to rejuvenate his energy and showcase his skills. LeBron is the BEST guy to influence Rui (they're basically the same size) and LBJ has the cache to motivate him to keep the energy high. I don't even like the Lakers but hope Rui sees that sticking around will have a very positive effect on his game.
