Say what you want about FVV and his play style, dudes gotta be a huge motivation to a lotta young ballers out there. Constant underdog, came from a tough background, undersized, underestimated and undrafted, but he worked hard and deserves to have accomplished all that he did.
He doesn’t fit this Raptors timeline well, or compliment the rebuild effort either, but I think a lotta teams out there would be lucky to have him.
Does he always have those “Hang In There” kitty posters?

For context, Gradey grew up in Wichita where Fred played college ball and at his press confernence he says that he went to games and actually worked some camps with the Shockers as a young kid. He even says that he talked to Fred there.
