Indianapolis Colts – Michael Pittman WILL be healthy! Colts likely bounce back! Pacers to trade 2X!

Pittman being in a contract year is a likely motivator to find a way to be as healthy as possible for 17 games.
Colts hopes a wrapped up in their history of bounce back seasons over the last 30 years.
Andrew Luck should be the next Ring of Honor inductee, but would fans boo their retired quarterback?
Pacers are going to make a minimum of two deals prior to the end of Thursday’s NBA Draft – and maybe more!
Cubs and Reds just keep winning!

  1. I still think keeping Myles over pursuing Ayton turned out best for the Pacers. Ayton isn't a winner and they would have been overpaying for him. To me with centers, you're just looking for some skills. There are only a few teams with a dominate center. Myles can stretch the floor and block shots. Those are needed skills. The Pacers competing for a championship probably won't have anything to do with the center position.

  2. People don’t dislike Andrew Luck, the person. People dislike Andrew Luck, the football player. I think it’s fair.

  3. I agree with your sentiments on Luck , but that doesn't mean you have to celebrate what he did to the franchise. He's out of sight and mind to me. I would rather not hear from him. Those articles by Keefer (I won't read) I have zero interest in his reasons for retiring , it simply doesn't matter anymore as far as the Colts prospects go. He had his reasons , he did what he did, good for him. I have no ill feelings towards him personally, then or now, but its time to move on.

  4. Andrew Luck???? Are you insane!! He quit!! He did not “kinda screw” us. He did screw us! He reinjured himself snowboarding! Ask your pal Dakich! Then he wants to cry about rehabbing???

  5. Oli marmol has no idea what he's doing. Managing the Cardinals. That team has so much talent on it. He needs to get some more talent in the starting rotation. Trade one of those young sluggers get yourself a pitcher rescue that rotation and they'll be sitting at the top of the league come seasons end . If you ask me, I thought they should have gone after Juan Soto last year. But that's just my opinion.

  6. Colts do not owe Luck anything. He got paid and did not play. Who cares why he quit he let the team and Colt nation down. I would certainly boo him. If he gets in the ring of honor it would be a joke and I would be done with the Colts. Disgraceful to even suggest it.

  7. Thanks for the birthday wish Kent. I love your take on things. I agree with you oh I'd say 80 to 85 percent of the time. Oh hell it could be 90. 😂 Thanks again

  8. Jeff Saturday in ROH? I would pick him. What he sacrificed last year and his playing years.

  9. Yesssss the cowbells! Two bell Tuesday is back and those on the west coast are in panic.

  10. No one loves Andrew Luck like I do, but I don't think he deserves to be in the ROH. But, at the same time, Jim Harbaugh is in the ROH, so I guess the bar is not very high!

  11. I am not happy with how Luck retired. But he represented the Colts well for 6 years (plus his injury year). Since his retirement, I blame Ballard for all the S*** the Colts went through since then. Okay, a year to try and recover, but why did we wimp out after that in building our team?

  12. The Pacers are being patient and it's paying off. I say we draft the best possible player and then use picks and the roster to get a "young" rising player, with experience. Keep all the guys you mentioned.

  13. I don't argue with the premis that Andrew Luck was well within his right to resign when he did. No problem there. BUT, because he extricated himself from the team, he does NOT deserve to be in the ROH. They are not mutually inclusive.

  14. Luck retiring after the draft is as disappointing as watching peyton manning drinking bud over the weekend wonder how broncos fans feel about snubbing the coors light

  15. I have moved on from Luck. I would put him in the volunteer and community leader hall of fame but not the colts hall of fame.

  16. Luck's choice to retire early was his right. He screwed the Colts with his TIMING, doing it during a pre-season game.

  17. Kent, just an FYI. The fine folks who frequent the Pacers Digest forum are having a get together draft night (this Thursday from 6p to 11p) at Avon Wings Ect. So if you and Julie are out and about stop in and say hi if you want to. A really great group of people and many are fans of your channel.

  18. DD would choose Ryan Grigson over Andrew Luck for the Ring of Honor. I kid, I kid. Good show Kent.

  19. I appreciate all of this except the treatment Luck gets. I know if I quit my job because im getting hurt all the time. And I do since i work in construction, I would get no sympathy, no reimbursement, no workmans comp because i quit. I sure the hell ain't getting the owner of the company to give me a ton of money for work that is related to a contract agreement of work being done in the future but i lose said money if i quit. Nope nothing like that. So I guess the point I keep hearing that makes this all different for him is that he was a pro football player? Well that makes us people who have to do this every day for X amount of years feel pretty bad. But he is popular right.

  20. I don’t blame Luck for retiring, but at the time I was shocked & didn’t like that he did it 2 weeks before the regular season started! I’m far removed from that feeling now lol. I’d never boo Andrew Luck. Much love God bless

  21. Is it my imagination or does Kent have a lot of plumbing issues, I’m thinking a change in diet would be the best option.

  22. Interesting stuff about the bounce back records, AR might have more expectations then i thought lol. I was as broken hearted as anyone about Luck walking, but i never was mad about it. Its like you said how can you blame him? Gotta respect prioritizing ones health.

  23. Are the training camp days subject to change? The Colts are on the list for 7/26 and have been for some time.

  24. Your sympathy and excuses for Luck are ridiculous. Being a better husband or father has nothing to do with someone not playing football. Was he unable to be a good father and husband while playing football? What about your favorite plumber? Is Jarred a terrible husband and father because he works for a living? Would he be better at either of those things if he would just sell his business to his competitor? Stop it Kent, Luck just made a decision. That decision is not good or bad, it just is. The way he handled that decision was piss poor. He deserved the boos he received in that preseason game, I don't care how many tears it brings to an ESPN analyst's eyes. He sold season tickets to people who expected him to play, given the story that was being relayed.

I don't think he deserves to be booed today, but I'm not sure he belongs in the Ring either, that is one of the accolades he forfeit making the decision he made. You should not get the reward for what should or could have been.

We all need to be consistent with these things Harbaugh needs to be removed, Marchibroda needs to be removed, and questionably Dickerson needs to be removed. If anyone believes Harbaugh belongs, Luck certainly does. If Marchabroda belongs then so does, Ron Meyer, Jim Morra, Jim Caldwell, Chuck Pagano, and Frank Reich. They all have a positive win-loss record, Ted does not with a 30-34 record.

  25. Michael Pittman Jr was born & raised a multi-millionaire & he's presently a multi-millionaire so "hungry mouths to feed at home" is laughable & kinda insulting to people like me who were raised on welfare by a single parent. It's more like if he wants his kids to have the absolute best of everything imaginable & NEVER have to even think about struggling for the duration of their lives then he'll ball out

  26. My poor St Louis Cardinals! I know I'm spoiled, but this has been a really rough year so far

  27. If you stick luck in there all they have to do is wait to see if AR works out first. If he comes out a house of fire we all cheer lucks vagina

  28. I'm sorry. No ring of honor for Luck. I'm happy that he's happy, but the sacrifice he made for his family will and should cost him NFL accolades. He could have been a hall of famer. He could have been in the ring of honor. But he sacrificed those things to be a better dad. I'm cool with that, but being a good dad doesn't earn you NFL awards.

  29. I’ll be back in October to challenge you on the St.L Cardinals comment. They have enough talent to make a run and eek it out…though I admit highly improbable.
