  1. This is a Great Pick. These Twins are Athletic Unicorns that are still growing physically and Fundamentally. In Addition, the have High Basketball IQ which a lot of Freakish Athletic Players don't because they rely on their Physical Attributes. Ausar is 6'7" 220 SF that has Point Guard Handles and he can shoot the 3 and a Defensive Monster. We finally got that Athletic 3 D Player who has a High Basketball IQ.

We needed a SF and we got it. We Needed fire power or shooting we got it with Sasser. Team is loaded with PF/C Duren, Bagley, Wiseman, Stewart. Now with Cade, Ivey, Ausar, Sasser, Killian, Bogie. This is a nice 10 Man Rotation!

  2. Seems like a good kid who has athleticism and a work eithic. We shall see if he can play "DETROIT BASKETBALL".

  3. We're going to be extremely disappointed with this mix of players in about 3 years, he's not a legit NBA 3, hes an NBA 2 who cant shoot

  4. WHAT'S THE PLAN MAN???? Pistons are stock piling a bunch of athletic poor shooting guards. Even if Cade, Ivey and Ausar blossoms when do they all play. I'm baffled, what's the plan

  5. Thought Troy absolutely killed the last two drafts. This pick frustrates me. Played in an inferior league full of actual high schoolers and still only shot 29% from 3. 66% from the line isn’t exactly promising that he’s going to blossom into a good shooter. He turns 21 this season and still has no outside touch. Really hope I’m wrong but I just don’t see how his skill set fits with our core. We took killian as a very good passer and defender in hopes he would develop a legitimate outside shot. Look how that has panned out.

  6. Maybe we believe Cade and Ivey shooting will be above league average. Ausar is an athletic slasher who can generate good looks for himself and other. Iggy-esque if it pans out. I believe Monty will have these guys playing really well in the first season.

  7. he is the only true small fwd(sf) their was in top 10..has great athleticism, bounce, and if he could shoot mid game w efficiency, he will be real good…but i dont believe he will have 1st impact like cade n ivey..hopefully 10 pt 4reb 1asst..and solid perimeter D

  8. When Troy Weaver makes a top 5 pick, he doesn’t take it lightly, excited to see what else changes over the offseason. This 10man rotation seems solid so far. New coach and better defensive scheme, this is going to be a fun year to be a Detroit fan.

  9. I believe Ausar will be a good player. I don't think Weaver is putting together a good team. He is so concerned about putting potential on the floor he isn't looking at how these players fit.

  10. He's basically a taller version of Ivey with defense to me. Having another one of them is a good thing to have.
