[Jackson] According to two sources, the Heat has been giving thought to potentially using the waive-and-stretch provision on Kyle Lowry if Miami is unable to trade him.

I believe his salary is guaranteed so either eat 29 million or waive and stretch over 3 years both terrible options I can’t see this happening.

Thank god. So happy I don’t have to watch Lowry desperately flop his way into being a rotation quality player for 7 playoff games again.
I get there was some hypocrisy to the complaints when we had Smart, but Smart at least had lots of redeeming basketball skills.
Lowry is like 94% flops and 6% deep 3s at this point, there is no redeeming watchable quality at all.

They lost a draft pick tampering for him.

We’re very far down the list of teams he’d consider.
Definitely not even top 5.
In no order:
* LA * LAC * Chicago (DeRozan relink) * Toronto (return) * Philly (hometown) * Phoenix (6man for the superteam)
But I think if you’re getting him cheap you’d be decently happy. He is a good player, just very annoying.

Don’t want this rat fuck on my team even on a minimum

You can’t just waive and “stretch” a most ASS player in the league right now

In the event this happens id certainly offer him the vet minimum (which I think is all we can afford). Doubt he take it but he’s be perfect as a veteran presence with playoff experience that rounds out our guard rotation
