  1. Is it me or everyone blames everyone except Embiid? He needs to step up in the playoffs period.

  2. impossible to win an chip when harden and embiid cant co-exist on the same floor, compare them to murray/jokic and the chemistry is just different

  3. Embiid will lose in the first round and second round no matter what team he’s on if he’s a 1st option. Embiid needs to be a 2nd or 3rd option

  4. I realize the Sixers haven't been a first class organization, but why does every great player have to have an all time great roster around them before they can be asked to go and compete?
Some superstars are more fortunate with that than others and that in itself is subjective, but every year for about 5-6 years, Embiid has had a roster that's good enough to compete. If they haven't yet reached your expectations, at what point is that his fault? Maybe it's ok that he's not won a championship, but can he at least be expected to focus on staying healthy in the playoffs rather than chasing an MVP? It's okay that he lost to the eventual champions in 2019 against the Raptors but can he at least beat Trae Young? It's ok to lose to the Celtics this year but could he not have gone 5-18 and then throw his teammates under the bus after?
I love how Jokic and Embiid were drafted the same year, and Embiid has had a better roster surrounding him than Jokic every single year except for this year and somehow Denver not winning was about Jokic not having done enough but Embiid's getting more passes than Jokic's teammates.

  5. Embiid will not get them a chip, you can try it again this year bit next year he is going to be traded.

  6. They should go back after Drummond & load manage him like how Milwaukee did with Giannis & Portis

  7. Max keeps talking about hiring Colangelo but the league quite literally forced him on the franchise. His job was to deplete the sixers assets which he did a great job

  8. Doesn’t matter because embiid is injury prone and the media never blames him. Ben Simmons was right

  9. Embiid & Harden are almost like Joker & Murray combo from the Nuggets, but Embiid not as skilled as Joker. The big problem is Embiid & Harden just don't play hard enough like they want it. Joker & Murray playing like they wanted it, wanting to prove to everyone that Denver is now on the map & not to be mess with. 76ers just need the right coach to boost Embiid & Harden.

  10. Big man can't win by himself. Giannis and Joker both won when Middleton and Murray were on fire. Sixers simply do not have the complementary player next to Joel to take ovet when it matters. From FA, Kyrie might be the one sort of fit into the category but we all know he can be toxic in the lockroom…

  11. Mental toughness is such a lazy answer as a reporter. These are grown men play in the most selective league in the world and you're saying they don't have mental toughness? No someone times you lose and sometimes your unlucky. There doesn't need to be a deep or profound reason for it.
