Maybe it's just me, but I "get" why JC was traded, but he was just such a likeable dude, that I hated to see him go….just saying

54 fastballs, 32 sliders, 14 changeups… corresponding to those precise numbers for usage percentages because that comes out to 100 pitches exactly. It was the best pitch mix I've seen from him, and the numbers on the offspeed were straight up bonkers. They swung at his slider 14 times… 11 whiffs! Swung at his changeup 6 times… all 6 whiffs! If you're gonna have 2 pitches that have swing and miss rates of 80% and 100%… holy hell. He's going to be unhittable if he's got 3 A+ pitches.
As for velocity, his very first pitch was 98.3mph. His 99th pitch was 99.2mph.
This was not it guys I know y’all didn’t want JC on the team but the trade was horrible and we could’ve packaged him with other players to get a star back and still have money left over! Just like the huertur trade we got worse and traded the wrong player at the wrong time again smh! We never learn bogi and capella should have been the first players to be traded!
