Trading him for a Ibaka will always bother me! The reason we cannot improve this team is because we have no tradable assets, donte was an asset that we could’ve used to better this team. We should have re-signed him at 10+ million a year and then dangled plus an expiring (George hill) for a better player. I understand that he was coming off an injury and he had some issues on the court as well (finishing at the basketball, inconsistent play for example) but he could obviously play. I’m a fan or Horst and the job he has done overall, but this was a big miss. We do not have the room for error when it comes to these types of decisions.
Such a weird dissonance this fanbase has about our current vs ex players. I know I shouldn’t speak for anyone as a collective but at this point it’s a pattern.
