Grant Williams REACTS to the Celtics Trading Marcus Smart



FOXBORO, MA — Grant Williams spoke at a Fanatics event and called the Celtics trading Marcus Smart difficult to handle, given how long he spent with Smart as the heart and soul of Boston’s team. Williams also previewed his free agency and said he hopes to remain with the Celtics, despite how difficult that is in the new CBA.

    Hoping we keep Grant and Bazooka actually gets his head out of his ass and gives him a real minutes. I love Al Horford but Grant is probably more skilled and valuable right now.

    If GRANT really want money and Dallas really want him they can do a sign & trade 2 Team for Celtics taking Josh Green 1 year rental; plus throw for its only a 1 yr rental like KP w/ 2nd RDP! Move Malcolm get Pat Bev. as you mess up w/ Clippers rumors already for more Draft capital and a solid bench Guard player like in a trade to HOU!

    Heat fan here. Do not like the way Grant handled Jimmy Butler in the playoffs. I am a university of Tennessee graduate and I used to like him. Do not like his character in the way he got into it with Jimmy Butler.

    Ya'll really want him back when we could just have Hauser take his limited minutes? Don't forget Mazzulla benched him at the end of the season and didn't play in many of the PO games. He took a step back this past season.
