This sounds wild but what If dame goes to Miami for the next 2 seasons wins a chip also allowing the blazers to develop around scoot Henderson and co and he then opts out of his player option in 2025-26 at age 35 and comes back to the blazers on a 2 year contract for ages 35 and 36 to be the 2nd scoring option behind a young well developed scoot Henderson ?? that could work if you think about it

The blazers were 29-32 by the end of february. They were in the play in and 2 games out of 5 or 6th. then they started to tank and finished 33- 49. This team will be a playoff team next year.
Portland does not want Herro or Duncan Robison that is a none starter. That package sucks. It's not close enough. They don't have to trade Dame even if he asks. Don't have to take scraps.

I say this; Portland trades Anfernee(sorry bud, nothing personal) for a wing or center upgrade, probably deals Nurkic too. Start Shaedon, and bring Scoot off the bench. It might sound wild to play the #3 pick off the bench, but Portland has had one of the worst benches in the league for YEARS on end, so they kinda need this. They also have a tendency to bring prospects along more slowly than other teams, so it fits their M.O
I would love for Brooklyn to get him especially after they got screwed over by Durant, Irving, and Harden.
