BRANDON MILLER IS HATED BY HORNETS FANS ALREADY…

The Charlotte Hornets just drafted Brandon Miller 2nd over Scoot Henderson, and Hornets fans are not happy at all, even booing their new rookie when the selection was made. Hornets fans aren’t the only ones hating on Miller. ESPN analyst Malika Andrews brought up his worst moment on national television right after he was drafted, and people are also clowning Brandon Miller for his confidence on twitter.

Brandon Miller is the best prospect in this draft class (other than Victor Wembanyama, of course), and he will be a way better NBA player than Scoot Henderson will ever be.

  1. I give Brandon an average of 10 points a game next season if they start him, 12 if he averages 45 minutes or more, I doubt he is going to be of much use to the hornets and I suspect they are already looking to trade him as soon as he manages reasonable numbers enough to trade him for, he is going to be responsible for a lot of turnovers, but the best of luck though

  2. Here are some basketball reasons (not legal situation) to draft Scoot over Miller: athleticism, ball handling, verticality.

Scoot’s athleticism and quickness make him a walking paint touch. No one is gonna be able to stay in front of him. He’s an advantage creator on offense that can crack open a defense and put them in scramble mode by himself. Miller can score in iso and PnR situations obviously, but he had a hard time creating advantage against high level college defenders because he doesn’t have a great burst or first step.

Scoot is a one-man transition bucket and can finish above the rim against grown men right now. Miller struggled to do that consistently against all but the low end college competition.

Listen, I hope you’re right and I’m wrong about their ceilings. I’m a Hornets fan so I’m cheering for Miller now. I think he’ll be a good player. And I actually think you’re right about the Hornets having a shot to make the playoffs next season with him either starting or coming in as a 6th man. I just happen to think Scoot has an All-NBA ceiling, and Miller is an All-Star ceiling.

  3. It is blatantly obvious that Miller is an elite shotmaker with a wide skillset; nevertheless, he stands in needs to practice answering interview questions since he makes statements such as “making the NBA finals by next year.” I have to admit that if anything goes badly wrong, the media will poke fun at him. The Hornets have drafted several guards and another power forward. It seems like whether Brandon Miller is on the team or not, it will not exert much influence on the team and franchise. “Talent over fit” does not always yield positive results.

  4. That dude in the far right at the watch party was crazy bro looked like he was abt to have a seizure 😂😂

  5. I’m ngl dkm I think the hornets gonna give miller the melo treatmeant and start Hayward and pj over him

  6. Bro damn 😮this is my first video, and damn, sir, you earned my sub today 🙏 🎉

  7. Watts up dkm
I was arguing to a wall in the comment section of the locked on hornets where a man was crying that we didnt take scoot and he is gonna be an mvp blah blah blah.
I couldn’t explain him a simple thing that long term fit in case of simmilar talent becomes a factor in this equation especially when you have a pg who has already proven his worth in the nba.
    God bless his mind

  8. I'll be honest, i was also not very happy at first about the Miller pick but as draft night continued, i was very pleased with what the Hornets were able to get from the draft. I never thought Smith Jr. would fall into the Hornets lap at 27 and that Pick is my favorite due to Smith having some really good potential. Amari Bailey will also be a solid role player and maybe even a 6th man if he develops well through the G league. This roster also has two first rounders from last year as well in Kai Jones and Bouknight have both have good potential but need more time to work on adjusting to the NBA, and both have shown flashes of how good they could be. This Hornets roster has a ton of potential, but do they have the culture and coaching staff to develop this young core?

  9. MJ on his way out gifted Lamello his side kick because it seems Hornets management was going to pick Scoot until MJ stepped in like hold up, let's hold another workout.

  10. As a Hornets fan, I hope you're right. I was on the Scoot wagon, but Brandon Miller is a great pick as well.
