  1. Interesting to me:

    – Olynik who some see as an available frontcourt player is not the answer we are looking for on defense

    – HBarnes also has a better defensive reputation than what the chart above shows

    – John Collins also was not the answer

    – Pöltl, Capela, Turner, Ayton all on pretty much the same level and all interesting targets -> can we get our hands on one of them?

    – Surprising: Didnt expect to see Zubac & Valanciunas on their respective positions on the chart. both far above average in terms of pps allowed. Could be cheaper targets if we cant get one of the 4 above?

    I’m sure many would disagree, and be risk averse, but I’d take a swing at Jonathan Isaac.

    THJ’s contract matches it spot on, and if a bet on Isaac’s health comes out as a winner, that would give the Mavs an All-Defense player. Buy while he’s cheap.

    He looked solid in the (very) limited time he played last year.
