Barry Jackson on Twitter: Per source, Heat management (Pat Riley) and Gabe Vincent had plans to meet this week in Southern California. Heat wants him back. Unclear yet if that will happen because market must play out (and Heat is well over tax line). But Miami would like to re-sign him.

So confirmation that Heat is prioritizing Gabe and they’re letting Strus go.

Glad to keep Gabe even though he can be frustrating at times. I honestly hope we don’t resign strus just cause it’ll stop spo from using him for 30+ min a game

Thank god we are keeping Gabe. Arguably our best/second best player in a few games this playoffs

  4. YourWorstNightmare9

Good, please do NOT bring Strus back under any circumstances unless he wants to take a massive discount or team friendly deal (which is highly unlikely).

Good move, gabe really earned it after these playoffs

Its crazy, seems like every year we run it back with less guys. Boston and other teams are always making moves to improve every offseasono

Yess plz come back Gabe but….. get money my boi

Saw some random contract projection a few days ago for some players and Gabe was on the list

They projected his contract to be 4yr/72mil…. If his contract is anywhere near that I am going to be sick

They should offer him what they offered caleb .8f gabe takes it fine but if it’s higher than that they have to rethink it .Gabe is my guy I wouldn’t mind him back but caleb came off a similar if not better season and came in under 10 mil and for less years .

He dissapeared in the ECF. Gabe Vincent won a game by himself down the stretch. Did you want the ECF? I guess your measure of talent is winning in the regular season.

He’s become my second favorite player. I hope we re-sign him

Hassan Whiteside, Duncan Robinson, Tyler Johnson, and now Gabe Vincent. We’ve done this before and it ends with us giving up a 1st rounder to get them off the team. Insanity

I can’t blame micky on this one. With Herro and Duncan here, I rather them try to develop another strus. The picked up a few undrafted shooters so let’s see.

upgrade at pg via trade, don’t want to see Gabe’s inconsistencies in the playoffs

2 years 25 million would be fine imo

I want him back but if he left for somewhere else I wouldn’t lose sleep.

It’s funny how we always talk about our development and how we can get any random guy and get him to contribute but then we start to overrate some of these guys we have. I just want a guard who can actually consistently pass, I’m getting tired of having small combo guards personally
