Chicago will need a pg right ?
Break up the warriors while curry, clay and green have trade value? Their salaries are higher then
Their basketball skills.
Im expecting San Antonio to offer Reaves a massive deal just to screw LA.
The Lakers need to gone rebuild I’d rather have G league all line up than to pay 90% of that roster
Clippers are the deepest team in the nba and are going to lose majority of their bench players for nothing
Kawhi gotta go…u can't count on this guy to play. Even if he feels like his only 90%, dude won't play. How you justify paying this guy..
Clippers lost to Denver 2020 with Kawhi and PG healthy?
WHY WOULD YOU EXTEND KAWI OR PAUL FOR WHAT CLIPPERS NEED TO START OVER
This is like the opposite of 2016 with the new CBA. In 2016 all teams had a big bump in how much they could spend. This year and next couple the NBA teams have to figure out how to reduce spending.
There needs to be a few shows dedicated to this new CBA, and how it affects the players. I don't know how the players were convinced to sign this deal. To me it looks like the players are getting screwed, less max contracts, less mid level players getting paid, just less money for the players all the way around.
Second teams are really going to have to think about who gets the max. To be it looks like only the top 5 – 8 players in the League should get the super max, and it only goes to players that have impact. If your the second player on the team then no max for you. If you're the best player on the team but you're not even making the playoffs then no max for you.
I think the original intent is the max was to keep the top of the top players from moving around by giving them a crazy amount of money but somewhere along the line teams started giving it to everyone. Just look at KAT, Bradley Beal, Kyrie. All good players, but definitely not max players.
Bobby’s audio levels were really low! 🙏
Balmer should have moved to Seattle but pride and ego kept him in LA where the franchise is obviously cursed
hi giant espn company, the sound is AWFUL I could balance the mics in 4 seconds.. Wow..
If you want load management it should inflect in the contract, the fans are robbed when all their money is in street clothes
The Clippers are in a nightmare scenario
Thanks for the variety of scenarios
Bobby my man ur mic is so quiet on my airpods man idk whats going on. Brian clearly has the better audio set up.
Maybe I shouldn’t be so Cavalier, but Luke Travers is a bigger Austin Reeves … like a Ginobli/ Pippen hybrid.. future sfan favorite and star role player. Watch this summer league and we should be bringing him in earlier than planned.
Russell is only good on bad teams where he can walk around and huck up shots and lose in peace.
Um, bubble? Second round of the playoffs. Kawhi and PG healthy, went up 3-1 vs Nuggets. Then Nuggets won 4-3? So clearly the Clippers have lost a playoff with them both healthy. Come on guys, sharpen up.
lol Windy is two different people when Bontemps is on compared to when he is off🤣
Frustration that Kawhi isn't playing…as a Spurs fan this sounds familiar.
Never should have trade SGA to get Paul and Leonard. Should have left Kawhi in Toronto and PG in OKC. Biggest L for Clippers
Bobby we noticed. You told us Vanderbilt's hold but that's it… lol😅
If I'm the Lakers I'd rather have Gabe Vincent/Dennis Schroder instead of D-Lo's salary
As CB famously said: They ain't gonna work me like a dog and don't pay me!!!
😂😂😂
Love the technical parts of the podcast. You rarely hear these from insightful analysts 35:00
No more Ohm please. guy is a tool
Bring back Vandy ,no to Beasley ,keep Bamba
That warm drawer full of those fabulous cookies! DoubleTree is the effing best for that reason alone.
It would be way more credible if you talked about all teams
PG and Kawhi could walk for nothing and still might get injured on the way out 😂😂
Pg and Kawhi been barley walking for millions; they could take some pay cuts
Austin reeves getting 100 million guaranteed
