Not a terrible deal all things considered. Welcome back, Vuc!

Hate how complacent this franchise is. I guess it’s not a bad deal money wise but looks like we’re running it back.

This is fine value but I really hope we can move on from DeMar or Zach (would much prefer we move DeMar) and properly rebuild

Great value for an above average starter, and we weren’t gonna get a better center in FA. I’ll take it.

3 years on that salary also makes the contract very tradeable should we decide to go full rebuild.

Didn’t lose him for nothing! Hang the banner!

This is expected but if Zach/Demar/Vuc are all on the team next year I’ll actually be speechless lol

  7. A1Horizon

Pro strats. Announce you’ll sign a hometown deal then just ask for your market value lmao.

Glad to have the big man back

waiting to see if the 3rd year is partially guaranteed (or better yet a team option)

edit: lol why would any Bulls fan be against this deal being better for the Bulls

  9. Why why why? Why, God, why. No please no. Why

    East conference play-in bound 😤

This is actually insane wtf are we doing

Tbf maybe my favorite aspect of last season was Vuc repeatedly hitting wild clutch threes in crunch time

The carrot and the stick. Gotta keep the (dumb) fans entertained, playing meaningful basketball towards the end of the season. That’s the only goal. – Jerry Reinsdorf

3x what we we paid Pau Gasol in 2014. They basically have the same stats. Since the salary cap has only doubled since 2014 then this is a bad contract.

Reasonable deal, I hope we have a team option year 3.

If it wasn’t the Bulls, I’d say they kept a good trade asset. Can’t let him walk for nothing after losing draft picks. But we’re probably just running it back 😪

Nice. That’s a very solid contract. And Vuc has improved each year with us as he’s gotten comfortable. I really wouldn’t be surprised if he continues to improve.

Gonna be an amazing day when this guy is no longer on the team.

CONTINUITY BAYBEE, WE OUT HERE PLAYIN IN

Great value. Bulls need to trade Demar and add role players around Lavine and Vooch, give P Will more opportunities. Doesn’t real make us much better but it gives us a better outlook

If ball never gets hurt this team is 4th in the East. I actually thought they would be fine with deorzan

  22. Accomplished_Bid7987

Hopefully it’s back loaded. I don’t get the let him walk comments in this thread lmfao.

We got robbed in the Vuc trade but letting him walk would be a brain dead move. Atleast we still have him on a reasonable deal so he’s still an asset and we can salvage something in the future if we want to

  23. LauriFUCKINGLegend

That is a damn good deal all things considered

  24. Yoesito

It’s all about setting incredibly low expectations so you don’t get disappointed. I expected 22.5M a year or thereabouts, 20M looks good to me.

  25. theshindy

    🤷‍♂️

Look, I didn’t particularly want him back, but it was either this contract or he walks for nothing and that Orlando trade ends up looking that much worse

This team still has absolutely no identity, vision, or direction and I don’t think I have faith in AKME anymore to successfully set up any one of those.

Zach/Demar, one of them has to go. We need a point guard. I personally would keep Zach cause he’s younger but I’m not sure if Demar has any real value.

Hoping that when full details come out that the 3rd year is only a partial guarantee
