Dame has said he won't demand a trade as it's no guarantee of a chip even if he goes to Miami or wherever. Just look how KD/Kyrie/Harden turned out in Brooklyn, or how KD/CP3/Booker turned out in Phoenix. Does anyone seriously think the Joker Nuggets are stoppable by anyone other than MAYBE Golden State next season? Also, with teams all trying to shed big contracts due to the new CBA, which team seriously wants to absorb a 33-year-old PG (who hasn't played a full season since 2020-21) with max contract with two years left? Also, every non-Portland fan-base wants Dame due to his famous clutch 3's, but what are they gonna say when he loses another series going 1-7 from the field in the fourth quarter of a crucial game at home, or when he gets hurt again, etc.? Dame is not the most efficient player. He is a shoot-first PG. People forget CG McCollum is who closed out Denver on the road in the playoffs a few years ago, getting Portland to the WCF. Anyway I think Dame will never demand a trade—it's up to Portland's GM to decide what's best for the franchise. But I disagree that Portland cannot win a title with Lillard in the next 2 years. They just need to get Nurk some adrenochrome
