I’m happy the FO was able to get Vuc for $20 million per year. That is a fair salary for his production and shouldn’t be too hard to move if the Bulls decide to go a different direction. Vuc’s game isn’t built on athleticism so he should age well.

People are gonna hate this signing but IMO it’s pretty good. Arguably still a top 10 center giving you 16/11 night in night out. One of only a couple centers that played all 82 games last season, and with his style of play aging isn’t as much of a concern as it is with other big men. Still roster holes to fill but resigning Vuc seems like the right move to me, especially at that price tag for three years.

It’s a good deal, but it’s only being done to save face for one of the worst trades in recent memory. Can’t let Vucevic walk for nothing, so we cornered ourselves into this because we didn’t try to trade him sooner.
