Reaves can only get a max of a $98 million offer from the Spurs. He can’t get a four year, $120 million contract. And if the Lakers won’t go over $100 million to re-sign Reaves, that means they could still re-sign him at $98 million.

Ngl ar and wemby could be scary. Im not too into the whole salary and money side of the leauge but i was thinking abt poole maybe going there and having a breakout season with wemby. And i feel like that could happen with someone like reaves who grew alot as a player as we saw last year
Nah Spurs are great because they're patient and don't make dumb moves a lot of other teams do. They draft and develop. If the player doesn't pan out they fleece other teams like they did with the Hawks
The problem with rushing it is being competitive now but not having the assets and cap space to create a true champion in the future, look at luka and Dallas who jumped the gun and now don’t have enough assets to build a contender
If it doesn’t end up being too expensive, which let’s face it, it might have to be since Lakers can match any offer, but if it didn’t end up costing too much, maybe $20mil a year max, I think Austin Reaves would be a fantastic youngish addition to their team.
