Mike Dunleavy on the Warriors entering NBA Free Agency:
– Cleared roster spots for “bullets in free agency”
– Only have minimums. “Looking to add veteran players who can fit into rotation.”
– Shooting/two-way ability “a premium”
– “It’s obvious we need to add some size”

New GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. has already indicated the Warriors aren’t expecting to carry a 15th, leaving it vacant to trim the tax bill. So you’re talking about three openings and only one kind of contract to offer: minimum. With the incoming collective bargaining agreement, the Warriors (over the second tax apron) no longer have the taxpayer midlevel exception.

    They need to sign 2 big's (c/f Moe Wagner, Dario Saric ) at least or add Howard, Cousins and change the Damn offensive plan to mix the inside game with Paul on the team now! Can't win with just relying on outside shots that arent hitting as you saw in the playoffs!

    Lopez or Howard. We need size and screen setters, a tree trunk in the middle, the space eater that takes box outs that allow guys like drey and wiggs to swoop in to grab rebounds. We aren’t that run and gun team like we use to be. Half court offense needs to be incorporated as Steph is on the bench.
