Spurs traded away all of their best players for nothing, and tanked better than anyone, but everyone knows it was a conspiracy for "broke foot" to go to San Antonio.
I'm with you; the NBA draft is rigged. I find it very hard to believe we fall every year except with Cade Cunningham. As far as Cam Whitmore goes, I read his medicals were not good and the work out he had with the Pistons wasn't good. Ausar is a great off ball player and can be the primary initiator. He has the potential to be an incredible wing defender and plays well off the dribble. He's also a great cutter. To me tho, this team revolves around Cade Cunningham so I think the Pistons goes how Cade goes. Hopefully Cade is ready to go. Good vid!
If we can upgrade the SF and PF position via trades/free agency, we will be a solid team.
Whether that means trade for Deandre Hunter and John Collins, signing Kuzma or Cam Johnson. I think all of those additions would be great for the team.
We already waived RJ Hampton so our guards seem to be set. We will see what happens with Killian.
I don't see Ausar starting TBH, I know a lot of people are high on him. I think he will play in a Diallo type role for a part of the season. Cade and Ivey really need to get game reps, as their time was cut short together last year and that is more important than trying to get Ivey, Cade, and Ausar all working together at the same time.
Especially if Bojan is still here, I don't see Ausar starting.

Do you think Overtime Elite has the power to manipulate the draft? The fact that so many current players, team owners and even the former NBA commissioner are investors you can see how manipulating the draft could boost the private market valuations by A LOT potentially by +500mln. More than making up for the loss of revenue to a team.
Clearly this sort of reckless capitalism exists today in America but feels so wrong when in involves such great institutions like High School and College basketball.
