The only reason I could think you’d extend the guarantee deadline is so he can be part of a trade then the other team could either guarantee or waive him, so with his five and jv’s 15 maybe a 20mil center incoming?

To me it says a trade *isn’t* coming yet and they’re still working on it. If it was about to happen you don’t need to extend it. They’ve obviously been trying to make s move
