Why get AR15 we have Amen/Jalen already. Get a vet PG to teach young guards not just take their playing time
Save the bag for next years free agency. See what this team does and we’ll know EXACTLY what we need. Lots of big names and good role players next year

AR will clearly stay with Lebron. Van fleet should be our first target as our floor general and we will have to pay the price. I can’t see another true PG. If we still have KPJ of the bench; I don’t see the need of bringing Jordan Clarkson. KPJ can either sub Amen or Jalen Green. Patrick Beverley can still be a good addition as the 3rd or 4th option along with TyTy.

Thoughts on picking up an elder statesman guard to teach the young guys knowing he won't have a lot of guaranteed time but you are essentially paying for his knowledge and mentorship. Derrick Rose, Patrick Beverley, Goran Dragic, Wesley Matthews…..thoughts?

Love the Lopez rumors, VanVleet im ok with, but not over the moon about how much. But the Brookes rumors i dont like. We need a backup 4 not a starting 3. This is our depth chart IMO.:;PG: (VanVleet possibly), Amen, TyTy. SG: Jalen, KPJ,JGUP. SF: Tari, Tate, Cam. PF: Jabari, ??,??. C: (Lopez hopefully), Sengun, Garuba. I would love if we could target Rui Hachimura as our backup PF. Hes young , athletic and has playoff experience.
We need a 32+ aged guard that doesn’t need to start but can be a example of professionalism to the young guys.
Please Rockets dont Sign Fred Vanvleet. Hes ok but not Worth 80+ million for 2 years . We trying to compete with the big dogs in the West
No way VanVleet agrees to sit on the bench – if Amen is a quick study look out for turmoil. There is, however, no reason you can't play Amen at point forward. I don't see VanVleet coming here, even though he does check all the boxes. I think they are going to surprise all of us with whatever they do. IMO Brown is the most likely of the guys you mention.
Gotta bring in Derrick Rose. He knows exactly what comes with the expectations of being a high draft pick (No.1 overall) and what it takes to fulfill them. He’s been a consummate professional throughout his entire career and has ultimate respect all throughout the league. He’s more than fine with playing under 25 minutes and embraces the role of mentor. There isn’t anything that he hasn’t seen in this league and his insights and influence in the locker room and on the court is immeasurable. DRose is the only former league MVP Rafael should be considering.
Vanvleet made the other guys look good??? Since Kawhi left Raptors have not been that good even with Siakam and some other above average wings. Vanvleet not worth more than 15 million a year.
If you really want to facilitate Amen’s path to greatness you bring in Derrick Rose.

I’ve heard a guard, wing, and post player is what we’re going to get. That sounds great. I don’t understand how this will be if we only have $65M (?) and we’re giving $42m to FVV alone.
