For fuck sake man. I hope its his agent being slow.

But its such a shitty look for us. You have to tell the player to his face or over the phone imo. Just from a human stand point

If you donā€™t like this, you donā€™t like Timberwolves basketball

he unfollowed the wolves last night so he prolly knew he wouldnā€™t be brought back

  4. There is 0 reason for the wolves to not notify him. I think heā€™s just being facetious

Poverty franchise does poverty franchise things. More at 11

I really though TP gave us a lot of culture. He was always involved in the scuffle we had with the other team. Great energy imo

Really hope this is nothing. Ant loves Prince, and if you want to attract talent you canā€™t not be straight with your players.

    Prince’s Agency: CAA

    Woj’s Agency: CAA

Who do you think gave Woj the scoop?

The second best Prince to ever play in Minneapolis

This isnā€™t the first time Iā€™ve seen/heard a former Timberwolf suggest that their departure from the team was less than cordial. Makes me sad (especially considering 2/3 of the players Iā€™ve heard this from are two players I love, Prince and Okogie, and it bums me out that we blindsided them or somehow did them dirty) but also it frustrates me because if thereā€™s truth to that, that we arenā€™t good at sending guys away, guys will continue to not want to come play for us. Itā€™s continuing an unprofessional habit, a habit not characteristic of a well-run organization.

He knew, but maybe it was through secondary channels. Wish our FO would give these guys the respect and call them directly, Prince was huge in helping us develop a winning culture.

I am not convinced that we are fixing some of our underlying organizational issues. I hope the “world class” mantra A-rod was pushing continues to be a focus and not just owner speak.

Having to let a liked player, who plays a position of need for most of the league, who is on a decent value contract, walk for free is the reason we need to be careful with the contracts we hand out.

We have a history with overpaying our guys and it’s moments like this when it bites us in the ass. We did so with Wiggins, Dieng and several others throughout our history. Let’s hope we keep this in mind for Jaden (no wiggle room for Ant’s max).
