[Scotto] The Portland Trail Blazers are not expected to extend Cam Reddish a qualifying offer, sources told @hoopshype . Portland is up against a looming luxury tax crunch. Reddish, who several executives believe has untapped potential, would enter the market as an unrestricted free agent.

I mean a vet min can’t hurt
Vet min bench warmer
Cam Reddish is a bum
vet min but he’ll probably bounce out the league in a couple years or so
I wonder when we’ll stop the yearly tradition of Cam Reddish and Derrick Rose rumors
I have “slandered” Cam for years by pointing out that while his size and athleticism make him LOOK like a player with massive upside, he has not, other than a few outlier shooting games (usually against us) ever shown himself to be that guy. Not at Duke. Not in ATL. Not in NY. And not in Port. He falls asleep defensively so while he isn’t usually attacked 1 on 1, his help and overall D is really bad. Can’t drive. Lousy playmaker.
He is a career 32.2% 3pt shooter. So can’t do that.
So I would ask: Why?
Atl took off when they dumped him for nothing. NY dumped him for less. Now Port, desperate for wing help, doesn’t want him at the QO? If they all gave him away needing wing depth, why would he be able to provide that here?
Let’s not be that fanbase, man. There’s no reason for him to play a single minute for the Bucks:
– Doesn’t play hard
– Terrible on offense
– He is 6’8″ and averages less than 3rpg at 30mpg…
He is a 4-year NBA vet that has shown absolutely nothing. A friend sent me that “Cam is just a year older than MarJon.”, and yet he hasn’t shown a single glimpse of progress.
So, let’s do this instead: Sign AJ Green to a 3-year deal. Move on.
He sucks and isn’t worth the paper his contracts are printed on.
