This would be a HORRIBLE trade for the Kings, Give up Monk, Mitchell and two unprotected 1st round picks for PG who has maybe 3 good years left in him.

Sacramento fan here loved the explanation and video idea here but don't think this is a deal monte would want. He's always played safe in his draft picks and trades.. A guy like PG has a lot of risk and doesn't seem like the type of splash he'd want.. I think he will just use cap space to secure up Sabonis resign HB (or similar priced wing) then add some role player depth..

Let me be clear as I can possibly be. There is nothing about this trade that the Raptors would ever want. I will say that Mitchell is a great on-ball defender against a point guard. And for a small guy in the NBA he does very well. But to give up OG anunoby. She defends all five positions very well and Disturbed star players and takes away more than half their points on many of nights. If the Raptors are getting Mitchell with two picks it's not worth it for the Raptors. With OG anunoby their record automatically becomes better their Pixar lower. It doesn't matter if those picks up in the first round August 2nd, they are lower pics. Why give away fan favourite plus a key piece in winning a championship just 42 low round picks any undersized guard that is very good at defense but still undersized?
😮 I also want to add unfortunately for Sacramento Kings there are no pieces that you're willing to give up to get a piece like OG. He comes at a high price because he is in high demand and will help any team become better. The Raptors were a horrible team last year and allow that have to do with in-house argument especially with the coach that was fired. Now that he's gone this team looks a lot better but most people won't recognize that until the season starts. The Raptors look like they are most likely going to run it back. By the time the trade deadline comes is the only time I think they'll start moving players that don't work with or for them.
