I started the audiobook of [The Last Action Heroes: The Triumphs, Flops, and Feuds of Hollywood’s Kings of Carnage](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/62192505-the-last-action-heroes) today. It’s really fun, even as a person who is familiar with a lot of these stories, and the massive egos involved. Dude’s a good writer and very adept at stitching it all together into a bigger picture, starts with Sly vs Arnold in the 70s and then gradually widens the scope.
I’m highly considering carving out a chunk of my arm and chopping off my left foot above the ankle to remove mosquito bites…

Eric Gordon is someone I could see us going after if we don’t resign Bruce. He would be at the bottom of the list of my preferred candidates but he would make the list.

I DO like that the supertax is finally punishing in a way that isn’t just ignorable to the super rich or super invested owners. Also glad the floor forces owners to spend more
Long accepted bruce is going to avoid risk and just cashout but after reading we could run it back and add taurean im not sure i can live if this doesn’t happen

I have a hard enough time getting too worked up about NBA rookies who likely won’t crack the rotation until next year at earliest. No idea how NHL draftniks can get themselves so hyped for a bunch of kids who have to spend like 6 years toiling away in Siberia or Scranton, PA or wherever before possibly being called up to the main club

Vlatko on the side bar pic today, and his game worn jersey is probably the only one I can afford… Good thing he’s always been my favorite player and is now an NBA Champion!

Funny story about St. Anger– it had just come out and while I had heard of Metallica before, I knew nothing about them. So I go to Sam Goodie and cop the CD. Who knew it was the definitive “Bad Album”! The titular song wasn’t that bad back then, but it sure doesn’t sound great now.
